The International Business Times has provided some interesting information; a comparison chart on how much drugs cost on the underground online marketplace versus the amount paid on the streets worldwide. This week, the FBI shutdown the illegal drug haven site, Silk Road. With this online-den-of-shady-illicit activity no longer in operation – customers will now have to seek other means to feed their head.
Some interesting tidbits, cocaine was a lot cheaper on Silk Road than on the streets, while marijuana was more expensive when purchased via the online marketplace.
